Restoration projects include work for the Royal And Ancient Golf Club, St Andrews, tracery windows at Paisley Abbey, Fyvie Castle and the House of Dun as well as various university properties throughout St Andrews and Dundee.

All our fireplaces are individually made and hand carved using a variety of materials, including sandstone, slate, granite and marble, in both contemporary and traditional styles. Also available are bespoke hearth stones in sandstone, limestone, granite and slate, cut to size – using a template if required,  with a range of finished edges and textures. Chimney surveys may be carried out at the client’s request. In most cases these can be carried out from the ground but on occasion the use of a lifting platform may be required. Chimney ventilation, flue and opening width advice service is available.Advice and design is offered as well as a comprehensive fitting or supply only service.

Memorials are created to standard and individual sizes. We supply and erect all types of memorials including headstones, cremation tablets, vases and memorial plaques made from a variety of materials including, granite, marble, sandstone, limestone, slate and Caithness stone. Artwork and etched designs can be added to meet with individual requirements. Additional inscriptions and cleaning services are available. We offer a professional, personal and sympathetic service. Highly skilled masons provide carving for individual pieces, commissions and restoration projects. Recent projects have included detailed sculptural work for finials at Dundee City Churches, feature tablets for the Queen Mother Memorial Garden, Royal Botanic Gardens of Edinburgh as well as the Fire Icon (dragon) commission for Scottish sculptor Gerald Laing and the Millenium Sundial at Wormsley Estate, Oxford which was carved from Portland limestone and tells the time at various cricket grounds around the world. We can supply impressive signage on large glacial boulders to small name plaques for domestic properties.
